Why Choose to live in the Ecclesall Road area when studing in Sheffield? Ecclesall Road Student Accommodation Guide

Ecclesall Road extends all the away from the city centre and out into the beautiful Peak District, with buses regularly running both in and out of the city centre. Ecclesall Road is home to many bars, cafes and shops, including many one-off boutiques, making this area the most popular for students in Sheffield.

From Starbucks to Weatherspoons or Nandos to Sushi, Ecclesall Road has plenty on offer to satisfy everyone’s taste.

If you’re cooking yourself and need to do a food shop, Ecclesall Road offers both a local Tesco and Sainsbury’s store, a M&S food and Waitrose (for payday!) alongside many independent bakers, butchers and greengrocers to help you whip up something tasty.

Going out for a drink? On Ecclesall Road we’ve got Weatherspoons for when moneys tight or Lost and Found for cocktails when you’re feeling bougie.

While home to some fabulous independent boutiques selling everything from designer labels to funky home furnishing, Ecclesall Road is famous for its many charity shops such as Cancer Research UK and British Heart Foundation Charity where you can always guarantee you’ll find a hidden gem.

In our opinion the appeal of living in the Ecclesall Road area has to the proximity to Sheffield Hallam University’s collegiate campus. Right on Ecclesall Road, directly opposite our office (don’t forget to give us a wave on the way to your lecture!). Who wouldn’t want to get up and be in Uni within five minutes???
